Healing
Peptides with described effects on tissue healing, wound closure or mucosal protection — predominantly preclinical evidence.
This family covers synthetic peptides whose published observations relate to repair processes: tendon and ligament healing, wound closure, gastric mucosal protection, angiogenesis. The evidence base comes almost entirely from animal models and cell culture. Controlled human trials are rare and limited in quality and scope.
This overview is editorial. It describes the evidence base, not a usage recommendation.

Thymalin
Human trial4 studies · 3 observations
Thymalin is a complex of multiple polypeptides extracted from bovine or calf thymus. Postulated mechanisms include modulation of T-lymphocyte maturation, influe…
Thymosin Alpha-1
Human RCT2 studies · 3 observations
Thymosin Alpha-1 is an N-terminally acetylated peptide originally isolated from the thymus. It modulates T-lymphocyte maturation and function and acts on dendri…
