Activation delays gastric emptying, inhibits postprandial glucagon secretion and modulates central satiety signalling via area postrema neurons. An acyl modification enables albumin binding and thereby weekly dosing.

VK2735

VK2735 activates both the GLP-1 and the GIP receptor — a dual mechanism similar to that of tirzepatide, suppressing appetite and food intake.
